Neodymium magnet - the super magnet

Neodymium magnets are also known colloquially as super magnets. This is absolutely true. They are characterised by their amazing strength and are therefore among the strongest permanent magnets in the world. They are available as raw magnets or in a protective coating made of steel or silicone, for example. They are available in many different shapes and sizes.
At MAUL, you can find these powerhouses in a wide variety of designs and buy the right product directly. Benefit from the wide range of possible applications and take a look at our product selection at your leisure.
What are neodymium magnets
Neodymium magnets have many different names. Colloquially, they are also known as super magnets due to their considerable adhesive force. They are also known as neodymium-iron-boron magnets or NdFeB magnets. Neodymium (also NdFeB) is a rare earth metal. It is a special material. In combination with boron and iron within the coating, it can be used to produce the strongest permanent magnets (also permanentmagnets) currently available in the world. The super magnets are available in many designs. Thanks to a special nickel-copper-nickel coating (also: alloy), they also impress with a very attractive surface.
In the best case scenario, super magnets can hold 1,000 times their own weight. A major advantage of these magnets is the fact that they offer a very strong adhesive force even with a very small surface area. They are extremely popular due to their very strong adhesive force. There are hardly any areas that can do without these neodymium super magnets. How do neodymium magnets differ from other magnets?
Not all magnets are the same - this becomes particularly clear when you take a closer look at neodymium magnets. The high magnetic attraction or adhesive force of these magnets is primarily due to the material and the combination with boron and iron. The base material neodymium is one of the rare earth metals - these are also known as rare earth metals. Neodymium magnets are considered to be the strongest magnets in the world, as they can have a significantly higher attractive force than all other magnets. These points also mean that the super magnets can be used outdoors without any problems. Whether as discs, pot magnets, magnetic tape, rod magnets, ring magnets, sphere magnets or even cube magnets. The permanent magnets can easily withstand temperatures of around 80 °C. It is also very practical that you can buy the magnets in a wide variety of designs. The permanent magnets are available in the following shapes:
- Ball magnets
- Square magnets
- Cube magnets
- Ring magnets
- Rod magnets
- Pot magnets
- Ball magnets
- Magnetic tape
Where are neodymium magnets used?
Neodymium magnets are an ideal fastener and the applications and uses are almost limitless. The super magnets are widely used on magnetic walls, for example - which are not only used in offices, but also in schools, nurseries and at home. Permanent magnets can also be found in many public facilities. Neodymium magnets are often found on magnetic glass boards, whiteboards, magnetic pinboards and other metal boards. However, the magnets are also practical helpers in the private sphere and have become indispensable. For example, on fridges, in display cabinets or in the home office. Magnets are used in many areas that we don't realise or see every day, for example in electric motors, loudspeakers or generators. Permanent magnets are very popular in industry and the hobby sector.
Order neodymium magnets from MAUL
In the MAUL online shop, you can find a wide range of different magnets and buy the right neodymium magnets for your needs. In addition to various shapes and sizes, we also offer many special magnets such as the carousel hook magnet for hanging objects. Some magnets are also suitable for hanging decorative elements from ceilings. While cone magnets, rod magnets or cube magnets, for example, have a particularly good grip, flat disc magnets are very discreet and unobtrusive. What all neodymium magnets have in common is that they are very modern and impress with their design and shiny silver surface. Take your time to look around our shop and let us inspire you. Of course, we not only inspire with variety, but also with particularly high quality. You can also be sure that you will always find attractive and fair prices. If you have any questions about the magnets or your purchase, we will be happy to assist you.
