Design lights / design lamps

Our designer lamps are developed and manufactured at our Bad König site. Various aspects of the product life cycle are considered during product development – from development and manufacturing through to use and disposal. The lamps combine functional design, technical development and different material and construction features.

Designer lamps with design from Germany

When developing our designer lamps, product functions, manufacturing requirements, ergonomics, the aesthetic preferences of the target group and MAUL’s corporate design are taken into account. The individual components interact with and influence one another. To combine functional and design requirements, our in-house development department works closely with designers.

Our designer lamps use LED technology, which enables a compact lamp-head design. As LEDs generate heat during operation, our development team has created a characteristic MAUL rib structure arranged around the pivot axis. This construction supports heat dissipation while also shaping the appearance of the lamp head.

Depending on the model, the arms of our designer lamps are made from stainless steel or anodised aluminium and are designed to suit the respective construction. According to MAUL, the company has more than 100 years of experience in metalworking. The compact integration of the electronics allows different mounting options, such as bases or clamps, to be used depending on the model.
